The pictures below, scanned from a Silberberg family album, are from Jacob Silberberg's visit to his hometown of Shumsk, then part of Poland, in January 1932. Jacob Silberberg was born in Shumsk in 1898 when it was part of the Russian Empire and emigrated to the United States about 1914, living at first with an uncle in Manchester, New Hampshire.
