We flew to Denver and spent the afternoon with Lynne's cousin Jill and her husband, David, and their three children, Noah, 9, Emma, 5, and Manny, almost 4. After dinner, Jill drove us to Boulder, where we stayed with our friend Brenda for five nights. Brenda was a mainstay in the Seven Hills Wheelmen bicycle club in Worcester, Mass., until she retired to Boulder five years ago.
