Monday, July 18

While the kids were at school we went to the art exhibit "Mythos und Naturgewalt Wasser" ("Water in Myth and Nature") at Kunsthalle der Hypo-Kulturstiftung.
At the Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady) we climbed to the top of one of the towers for a 360-degree view of Munich.

Rick & I assembled our bikes, and after lunch the whole family, along with Claire's friend Helen, biked five miles to Schloss Nymphenburg, summer cottage of the royal family.

It poured while we were having a snack in the Schlosscafe im Palmenhaus on the palace grounds, and it was still raining when the cafe closed and we had to leave.
